2024 U-Pick Cherry Update:A lot of people have been wondering about the possibility of u-pick cherries this year. With the warm weather and cold spring, we unfortunately lost most of our crop in a frost in April. With the lack of crop this year, we are requiring people to register for picking.
 
Here is what you need to know for picking:
– Each day we will allow 75 total people into the orchard
– The maximum amount each person can pick is 5 lbs.
– Starting June 30th at 3pm we will open registration via our website (and a link on social media to sign up)
– After picking concludes each day we will post another link at 3pm for the following day until cherries are all picked out.
 
Our family understands this is not an ideal scenario and realize people might want to pick more than we are offering. This year we are trying to make it an experience and allow as many people to pick in a safe controlled environment.

Picking locally grown cherries is one of the pleasures of summer, so bring the whole family out and start a new tradition. Whether you are located on the west or east side of Rochester, Schutt’s Apple Mill is right around the corner for an enjoyable adventure

Our farm is located in the heart of Webster and Penfield, Schutt’s Apple Mill is right around the corner and easily accessible from the east or west side of Rochester. Our family grows many different varieties of cherries available from the end of June to the middle of July.

As always, weather determines the exact date of our picking seasons.
