  • Looking for full time year around
  • Applicants must be 16 years or older.
  • Jobs are seasonal unless otherwise noted.
  • A person who works at Schutt’s Apple Mill needs to be able to work on the weekends from September thru November.
  • People that play fall sports unfortunately are not a good fit to work at Schutt’s Apple Mill considering their schedule.
Interview Process
  • After you have turned in your application, we will review your application (all applications will be kept on file)
  • People offered an interview will be called. Unfortunately, not everyone that turns in an application will receive an interview.
  • After the interview, people who have qualified for the job will receive a phone call with more information.
Current Open Positions

Apple Manager: Day time apple help/Farm help (not applicable for high school workers as you need to be able to work during the day)

Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, 401K program

Basic responsibilities:

Customer service is key to our family business. Interacting and developing relationships with customers. Sorting apples, filling cider and preforming lite farm duty. Approximately 20-30 hours depending upon the season.

Must be able to work at least one weekend day. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a staff of 15 people at the height of our busy season
  • Scheduling 
  • Ordering of supplies for hard cider room
  • Lead by example: role model for staff 
  • Maintain adequate stock of apples and cider.
  • Provide and initiates assistance for customers as needed.
  • Receive incoming telephone calls, takes accurate messages, and directs telephone calls to appropriate person.
  • Retrieve stock from storage area and receiving area to sufficiently stock shelves.
  • Perform light maintenance duties such as mopping, sweeping, cleaning windows, taking out garbage and cleaning bathroom(s) daily, while maintaining a neat and clean store atmosphere.
  • Attend store meetings and training sessions as requested.
  • Lite farm duty such as pulling brush, pruning raspberries, picking berries.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
