Fall Hiring Event

Join the Schutt’s Apple Mill Family! We are hosting four days of open interviews on August 2nd, 3rd, 16th, or 17th from 10am – 1pm. 

We are hiring full and part time in all departments: front counter, apples, bakery, stocking, cider, u-pick, and the food truck. The fall season is September and October. Applicants must be 16 years or older, cannot play a fall sport, and must have weekend availability.

When you arrive, come right into the store and proceed to the check-in table. Please have your resume on hand. You are welcome to complete an application ahead of time (link below) or the day of. We will be as efficient as possible, but there may be a wait to be interviewed.

Positions Available:

Bakery

• help make our delicious fried cakes
• best for early morning people
• maintaining NYS health standards
• shifts available
  • Friday/Saturday nights: 10pm – 3 am
  • Saturday/Sunday mornings: 3am – 9am
  • Saturday/Sunday mornings: 9am-3pm
  • Weekdays 5am-12pm (hours shift based on busyness)

Wagon Driver

• shift 10am-4pm weekends
• familiar with machinary

Stocking

• filling individual snack bags and merchandise
• restocking selves

Apples

• sorting apples to ensure high quality
• filling cider
• small farm tasks
• Opportunity to work our U-pick tent on weekends

Front Counter

• working with an iPad based cash register system
• working quickly and efficiently
• stocking goods as needed

• help make our delicious fried cakes in mini form
• working with an iPad base cash register system
• maintaining NYS cleanliness standards
